Which Drum Kit?

Which Drum Kit?

There are now 7 different drum kits at the teaching studio in Norwich.

This enables me as a player to find exactly the right sound for the live or studio situation that I am in. From a teaching perspective it gives my drum kit students the opportunity to try a wide range of kits and to hear the differences that specification, size and materials can bring to the overall sound. The latest is the Arbeiter Flats Pro kit which has proven to be lots of fun. Although this wouldn’t be my kit of choice for live or studio, it makes a great practice kit and is compact in design. This wIll be set up with my Amedia Classic cymbals and is sounding surprisingly powerful.

In the background is my Sonor Jungle DRUM KIT that belonged to my teacher and in most of the other photos on the website it is either my Premier Resonator Bop kit or my Premier series in white marine pearl finish.

I almost always play my Premier drums and Amedia cymbals when playing live and teaching drum lessons in Norwich. When delivering online drum lessons, it has to be my Roland VAD506 Electric Drum Kit.
