There are many benefits to online drum lessons. With high quality cameras and audio the learning experience is great. In fact, some students remark that they can actually see and hear in more detail online than they used to during in person lessons sat across a room with a potentially restricted view.
Not only is the learning experience good but one factor that gets praised constantly is the convenience. From my point of view I am also able to work with pupils all across the UK and beyond. It’s fantastic to be able to work with people overseas, but even those more locally that would otherwise face a 30 minute drive to a lesson can now complete the whole process from the comfort of their own drum kit! A typical student in Aylsham, Norfolk would take around 20 minutes to get to and from the studio in Norwich which turns a 1 hour lesson into a 2 hour trip. Online lessons are fantastic for busy people and for those who value their free time. Not to mention when it’s cold outside and you don’t want to leave the house… Let the drumming continue!
