It was great to be involved with the first World in the gardens festival. A full day of music from around the world with some fantastic performances.
I supplied my Premier series drum kit and Amedia cymbals as a back line kit for all of the touring bands to use. I was also very grateful to PMT music shop in Norwich for supplying us with an Ampeg bass guitar amp and two valve guitar amps that sounded amazing! As well as brand new equipment, PMT regularly have equipment traded in against new stock so it is always worth popping in to see what they have available.

As well as supplying the backline, I also operated the Avolites Quartz lighting desk for the whole event. This was lots of fun and it was good to be on the production side of the show for once as opposed to performing. The PA side of things was run by Joe Toll and his crew and sounded huge. Ben Street of Wild Paths Festival stage managed and ensured that everything ran smoothly. It was a pleasure working with these guys!

The event was a huge success and hopefully it will be the first of many…
